Abstract.

The purpose of the paper is to describe the objective and subjective author’s models of extremism. The author’s methods for obtaining primary data are applied. The “non-communicativeness” method measures the psychological risk of extremism. The method “warrior complex” reveals culturally-conditioned aggression and the degree of its realization. The survey of students of schools, secondary specialized educational institutions and universities was conducted. Empirical data have been obtained. Procedures for constructing statistical models in the form of test subjects ‘ profiles are made. Students are most exposed to extremist content. The reason for the lack of formation of the worldview and critical thinking is. Two cognitive models are constructed. The first model of the” state “ of a subject with an extremist ideology defines. The second model examines the neutral position in relation to extremism. A simplicial analysis of cognitive structures is made. Computational experiments on the observation of trends in the development of “states” of subjects were conducted. The results of the study showed the potential controllability of the phenomenon. The need to strengthen the complex of preventive measures was identified.
