Abstract. 

The problems of conceptual modeling of regional crisis situations are discussed in our study. The analysis of formalized models of regional crisis situations is carried out and its extension to the regional security management problems is proposed. Conceptual models of regional crisis situations are the formal basis for situation ontological modeling and simulation within the framework of decision support systems used to regional security management. In practice such models provide automation flexibility of specification synthesis of the management organizational structures of situational centers in the region and analysis of security support systems under critical conditions. The application problems and ways of regional crisis situation conceptual models in decision support systems of regional situational centers are considered. Specificity and basic types of regional crisis situations in socio-economic sphere are given.
