"Modeling of the broadband diffusion"

Abstract. This paper is examined the current states and factors affecting diffusion of different broadband technologies in developed and developing countries and analyzed the approaches to modeling of broadband diffusion, the socio-economic factors that influence the diffusion of fixed and mobile broadband. This paper studies and modeling substitution between fixed and mobile broadband access in OECD countries using cross-section panel data in 2000–2015 and also estimates the model parameters for different groups of countries.

Keywords: diffusion of technology , broadband access, technology competition, fixed broadband; mobile broadband.
