Abstract.

The article provides an scoping review of the existing scientific and practical research on the problems of government administration of the economy in the context of the digital transformation of socio-economic processes. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that digital transformation is becoming an objective prerequisite for significant structural changes in the economy. Accordingly, an understanding of the ontology of the ongoing changes is necessary for the development of a new government policy and new models of technological development. The conducted scoping review allowed us to draw conclusions about the increasing role of the government in the digital economy – in solving the problems of technological inequality, in creating formal institutions that are relevant in the new conditions, in creating the infrastructure of the digital economy, etc. In addition, in the new economic conditions, government administration cannot be limited to only regulatory influence: the government is increasingly becoming a direct participant in the processes of digital transformation of socio-economic relations. The results presented in the article can contribute to the systematization of theoretical grounds for the formation of new models of technological development of industrial complexes, both national and regional levels.
