Abstract.

A new way of structuring object domains is proposed. In contrast to the standard methods based on specifying elements and their relations, our approach uses differences of various types and levels as primitive units of the subject area. It can be called a network approach because the principle of hierarchy of differences is most fully implemented in communication networks.
